Letter from Poole to Watson to show which buildings renames were approved by the Board of Trustees.

This shows the names that were struck off the list and the ones that the memebers approved of and what names they attached to replace the old ones. It also shows that motion to rename other road and street names on campus.
David Watson's letter to President Poole about committee meeting

Letters says that the meeting was consumed by the discussion of the name changes to the buildings that they we not able to reach the topic of possible site for emergency barracks.
Building and Grounds Committee Minutes 5/14/1946

Committee Member Holmes is said to have presented each memeber with a possible list of names for them to look over before they discuss it in the May 16th meeting. This also includes that there will be more living unit on cmapus to accomodate the returning veterans.
Initial Building and Grounds Assignment

Meeting of Building and Grounds Comittee and section IV appoints members Holmes, Lee and Hunter to make a list of former trustee, Presidents and faculty who have done a great deal for Clemson College. This list will be used to rename buildings after them.
