Description
From this table of agricultural patterns in South Carolina, we can see a decrease in the number of family farms, a reduction in the number of acres in farmland, and and increase in farm size. While there were fewer farms, those that remained grew in size from 1945-1974. The overall view is that the use of land was changing over time.
