Dr. Eileen Kraemer interviewed by Hallie Knipp for the 45th Anniversary of Computer Science at Clemson Oral History Project.

Abstract

1:10 Dr. Kraemer speaks about growing up on Long Island, attending Hofstra University, and majoring in biology. Speaks about her first computer science class around 1977. Post college, she teaches high school biology and begins taking programming courses in the evenings.
Explains that she got her Master’s Degree at Polytechnic University, and then her Ph.D. in Computer Science at Georgia Tech in 1995.
