Description
Tillman III's address to the alumni. Speaks about looking ahead in post war years and how Clemson must remain as the past did, dedicated to their country and to education. He notes to rise in juvenile delinquency and consumption of alcohol to show the current moral coruption of society. He quotes men of the past like Ruskin, to show that he is glorifying the past and that the present should strive to stay true to these principles. The principles of his father and other early memebers of Clemson College should, in his mind, remain the stautus quo.
